In the past several weeks, Yes Cascadia has been so excited to be leading the way for a new and alternative model for organizing and movement building for the Pacific Northwest. However, the recent election has been a catalyzing moment for many individuals on a diverse political spectrum. While Cascadia seeks to break down these political divides that we feel are arbitrary, and break power down to every watershed and community, we are also aware that a vocal minority of individuals have been working to appropriate the symbols and language of Cascadia, and to espouse hate and fear.Read more
